Escape from Polana

Took a chance to get more with out getting caught my zombies, seemed simple enough. Would I get out alive? DayZ is an unforgiving place, but once in awhile you can get lucky.

Avoiding Zombies!!!  

There are a couple of quick tips to outrunning zombies. The first one on the top right is an example of running through a building to escape.

The one below that is running through trees to avoid zombies. You've probably seen videos about running up or down a hil... but what if there are no hills? The second video helps with that.

Backpack exchange?

The biggest thing over looked when asked, "How do I change my backpack for a better one?", is the mouse scroll. You have to be looking at the pack and it has to show the option to "Open" the pack and then scroll forward or backward with the mouse wheel. Options will appear on the left to take the pack. The rest you probably already know.

Starting a FIRE!!!

Need to replenish your blood and canned food just isn't cutting it. Or maybe you want to sit around a camp fire at night and sign songs. Whatever you need the fire for, here's the quick lesson.

DayZ GPS... How do you use it?

Here is a brief video on how to use GPS in the game. Basically you break the six digits in half. The first two will match the numbers on top and the tird digit breaks the box down by factor of ten. The same goes for the last three digits, first two for up and down and last digit broken down by factor of ten.
